Women's Tennis defeated by UTSA in Season Opener

The doubles tandem of Tereschenko/Dawson defeated Fuhrig/Bouffler 8-3. Tara Browning/Kendall Brooks defeated Mooney/Erausquin 8-6 and Katja Kovacic/Barbara Schraml defeated Romanenko/Lesaar 8-6.
Two of the singles matches were victorious for the Lady Raiders. Irina Tereschenko and Tara Browning came away with a win.
The women's tennis team returns to action Sunday for a match against Air Force Academy. Due to weather, the teams will compete at the Lubbock Country Club. The first match will begin at 9 a.m.
