Women's Tennis falls to Air Force 5-2

LUBBOCK, Texas - Tech lost four of the five singles matches, but won the three doubles matches for an overall 5-2 loss at the Lubbock Country Club Sunday.
The doubles tandem of Tereschenko/Dawson defeated Shelby/Bushey 8-5. Tara Browning/Kendall Brooks defeated L. Nigro/O'Bryant 8-4 and Katja Kovacic/Barbara Schraml defeated Black/J. Nigro 8-5.
Freshman Katja Kovacic came away with the only singles win for the Lady Raiders. She defeated Miclynn Crail in two sets.
The women's tennis team returns to action February 15th against Baylor at 10 a.m. in Waco.
