Battista notched a 1-1 record in the first two matches of the dual match season … Won the first match of his collegiate career in 6-1, 6-4 fashion against Grant Pertile of Bryant University (Jan. 11) … Also competed twice in doubles play during his freshman campaign … Started the year with a 4-4 unfinished decision against Bryant with playing partner Jackson Cobb … Did not play after the first two matches of the spring season.
