- Returned from his previous injury to play a key role for the Red Raiders as a junior … appeared in 12 games overall with six starts at outside linebacker … missed only the road trip to Arizona (10/5) early in Big 12 play due to injury.
- Recorded 31 tackles on the season, the most thus far in his career … total included 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks … had at least one tackle in 11 of 12 games overall and notched multiple stops in eight of those contests … finished with four or more stops in three different games.
- Credited with 414 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, which ranked eighth on the team and led all outside linebackers … played in 20 or more snaps defensively in 11 of 12 games with the lone exception being versus Colorado (11/9) late in the year … publication awarded him 11 pressures on the year … also saw action on special teams as a member of the kick return, punt return, punt coverage and field goal block units throughout the year.

- at Washington State (9/7): followed with three tackles in the road loss to the Cougars … delivered his first sack of the season on a 1st-and-goal play from the Red Raider one yard line, pushing the Cougars back 15 yards … sack ultimately led to a field goal with 5:57 remaining in regulation … performance kicked off four-consecutive weeks of being in the starting rotation.
- North Texas (9/14): closed non-conference play by matching his career high again with four tackles in the rout over the Mean Green … made two of his tackles as part of punt coverage.
- Arizona State (9/21): limited to only tackle in the Big 12 opener versus the Sun Devils but contributed to a takeaway via a quarterback hurry early in the first quarter … hurried Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, who proceeded to throw an interception to C.J. Baskerville, giving the Red Raiders the ball on the plus side of the field … the Red Raiders followed with a Josh Kelly touchdown pass from Behren Morton to take an early 14-0 lead.
- Cincinnati (9/28): notched two tackles the following week in the win over the Bearcats … injured during the victory, causing him to miss the road trip the following week at Arizona.
- Baylor (10/19): returned from injury to record one stop versus the Bears … received his highest grade of the season by PFF, grading out at 70.4 overall and 76.5 as a tackler.
- at TCU (10/26): posted three tackles in Fort Worth, his most during Big 12 play at the time … graded out at 70.1 overall by PFF - his second highest of the season - after being awarded a 75.3 grade on run defense and a 77.0 grade as a tackler.
- at Iowa State (11/2): set a new career high with seven tackles in the road win over the ranked Cyclones … shared a tackle for loss in the second quarter with Travon McAlpine, pushing the Cyclones back five yards to start an eventual 3-and-out drive late in the second quarter.
- at Oklahoma State (11/23): combined for three tackles over final three Big 12 contests with two coming against the Cowboys … previously had one stop two weeks earlier against Colorado (11/9) … was in the starting rotation against the Cowboys and again the following week versus West Virginia (11/30).
- vs. Arkansas (12/27): closed the season with three tackles in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, which included a career-high 1.5 sacks … got to Arkansas quarterback XXX Green in the end zone for a safety to end the Razorbacks’ opening drive of the second quarter … was the first safety in 11 years for the Red Raiders, who last did so versus Stephen F. Austin in 2013 … shared another sack with Ashton Hampton in the fourth quarter that forced an Arkansas field goal in the red zone.
2023 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- Missed the entire season due to a preseason injury suffered during training camp … was projected to enter his sophomore campaign as one of Texas Tech’s primary outside linebackers after a strong end to his redshirt freshman campaign.
2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
- Turned in a strong finish to his redshirt freshman season … appeared in 11 games overall with two starts as an outside linebacker and edge rusher… earned the start in each of Texas Tech’s final two games of the season.
- Recorded 11 of his 14 tackles (nine solo) and each of his 3.0 tackles for loss over the final three games … also had a fumble recovery and 1.0 sack as part of his season totals.
- Graded out at 75.0 for the season by Pro Football Focus, which ranked third on the defense among players who saw action in at least 100 snaps … trailed only defensive lineman Jaylon Hutchings and defensive back Marquis Waters … credited with playing in 151 total defensive snaps by PFF as well as 67 on special teams … member of both the kickoff return, punt return and punt coverage units throughout the season.
- Made his Red Raider debut in season opener against Murray State (9/3) with two tackles … did not record another stop until late in Big 12 play with one tackle at TCU (11/5).
- Role significantly increased defensively following the injury to Tyree Wilson late in the season … recorded three tackles in the win at Iowa State (11/19), earning him the start the next week in the regular-season finale versus Oklahoma (11/26) … set a season high with four tackles in the win over the Sooners, including one that went for a loss … marked the first TFL of his career, which came late in the first quarter on an Eric Gray rush attempt.
- Followed with another four tackles in the TaxAct Texas Bowl win over Ole Miss (12/28) to close the season … had 2.0 tackles for loss, including his first career sack, in the victory … sack started the fourth drive of the game for Ole Miss late in the first quarter.

- Previously helped push Wagoner to the state semifinals as a junior after totaling 122 tackles, including 24 that went for a loss with 13 sacks … added a team-leading 30 quarterback pressures … was also a tight end on the offensive side of the ball.
- Moved to Wagoner after previously attending Coweta High School … recorded 65 tackles as a sophomore in 2018 for a Tigers team that advanced to the Class 5A quarterfinal round.
