Started five games, playing in 17, in his final season as a Red Raider ... helped Texas Tech to its second-straight Big 12 championship and No. 5 NCAA National Seed ... recorded 10 hits in 24 at-bats for a .417 average at the plate ... two of his 10 hits were doubles, as he also scored 10 runs and brought in seven RBI ... had multi-hit games in four different games ... recorded two with two runs and an RBI against Western Illinois in Starkville on Feb. 18 ... posted two hits, including a double, three runs and a walk at home against New Mexico on April 11 ... put together a three-hit, three RBI day at Kansas State on April 15 ... also had a double in that contest ... final multi-hit performance came on the road at New Mexico in a two-hit, two-run and one RBI game on April 26.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON (2016)

Played at New Mexico Junior College for two seasons (2013-14) for head coach Josh Simpson... Second Team All-Conference as a sophomore... drafted in the 32nd round (No. 959 overall) by the Los Angeles Angels in the 2014 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft... as a sophomore played in 41 games (34 starts) batting .333 (44-for-132) with 23 runs, six doubles, three triples, four home runs, 40 RBI, 10-of-14 stolen bases and .388 on-base percentage... did not allow a passed ball all season as a sophomore... recorded 13 multi-hit games, including one three-hit game and two four-hit performances... went 4-for-4 with two runs, a double, home run and two RBI against Clarendon (2/28)... went 4-for-6 with two runs against Howard College (3/22)... CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Houston and New Mexico.
