Hughes and Bevis named CSC Academic All-District

The outfielder (Hughes) advanced to the All-America ballot
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech OF Logan Hughes and RHP Logan Bevis were named CSC Academic All-District selections, the organization announced Tuesday.
The honor was both Hughes and Bevis' first career All-District honors.
Hughes will advance to the national ballot where he will be a candidate for full All-America status from the Collegiate Sports Communicators.
The finalists on the national ballot via a vote will be selected to either the organization's first, second or third teams.
In order to be eligible athletes must carry a 3.50 GPA or better and meet high athletic standards.
The final First, Second and Third Team Academic All-America teams will be announced on Jun. 23.
