The Red Raiders will now head home to host their final meet of the regular season next weekend

WACO, Texas – The Texas Tech track and field team concluded the Michael Johnson Invite Saturday afternoon at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium.

The javelin saw two Tech winners in the making. Leah Howard won the women's competition throwing 50.31m (165-0) as Isaac Woodward led the men's side throwing 67.18m (220-5). In the men's 800m, Stephen Mutai came out with the win with a time of 1:46.93, besting the field by nearly two seconds.

Tonie-Ann Forbes set a new SB in the 100m hurdles going 12.95 (2.4), taking second overall.
