FORT WORTH โ No. 12/14 Texas Tech Soccer closes a five-day road trip Sunday afternoon against TCU at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium.
First touch is set for 1 p.m.
Originally slated to be televised on ESPNU, the match has been elevated to ESPN2, marking the first time a Big 12 Soccer match has been aired live on ESPN/ESPN2.
Seeking its fifth-straight win, the Red Raiders enter the weekend as one four unbeaten teams nationally joining Vanderbilt (12-0-1), Villanova (8-0-5) and UNCW (8-0-6).
The Red Raiders enter Sunday's clash with the Horned Frogs riding a 17-match (10-0-7) unbeaten streak and are 16-0-5 in their last 21 games contested in the State of Texas.
After Thursday's strong 3-0 win at Oklahoma State, the Red Raiders vaulted into solo first place atop the Big 12 table, sitting at 13 points.
In addition to leading the league in points, the Red Raiders are also first in total goals scored in league play (12), goal differential (+9) and have allowed the fewest goals in the league (3).
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:
MATCHUP: Texas Tech (8-0-4, 4-0-1 Big 12) at TCU (5-5-1, 2-3-0 Big 12)
DATE: Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026
TIME: 1 p.m.
LOCATION: Fort Worth, Texas (Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium)
LAST TIME OUT:
Raleigh Greason, Eleanor Hays and Taylor Zdrojewski scored three times in the first 17 minutes to power No. 12/14 Texas Tech Soccer to a 3-0 win over Oklahoma State at Neal Patterson.
In its fourth straight win overall and fourth in-a-row in the head-to-head series, Texas Tech (8-0-4, 4-0-1 Big 12) got off to the dream start scoring twice in the first eight minutes and three times in the matches first 17 minutes and 20 seconds of action.
The victory combined with losses by BYU (2-0 in Morgantown) and Baylor (3-0 in Boulder), saw the Red Raiders surge into a solo spot atop the Big 12 table.
With the win, the Red Raiders also ran their unbeaten streak to 17 (10-0-7) consecutive matches and recorded win No. 53 since 2023 (53-9-16) and Big 12 win No. 32 in league play since 2022.
From the very first moment of the match, the Red Raiders were on the front foot, thanks in large part to a strong combination play from Hays and fellow defender Kylie Bahr.
Slipping in her backline mate, Hays found Bahr in stride streaking deep into Oklahoma State (4-5-3, 1-3-1 Big 12) territory. The two-time First Team All-Big 12 selection zoomed past the Cowgirl backline and found her fellow Coloradan Greason in the middle of the 18-yard box who with a left-footed strike gave Tech a 1-0 lead just two minutes and 50 seconds in.
Just over five minutes later, Tech doubled its lead, when a Zdrojewski shot was saved by OSUs Avery Bass who punched a juicy rebound that was headed home by Hays.
Up by a pair, the Red Raiders ultimately struck for a third and final time, when an errant pass from Bass fell to Zdrojewski who chipped the keeper with a bomb from 40 that soared over Bass and into the net.
Armed with the 3-0 advantage, the Red Raiders avoided conceding for the third time in four matches, as OSU missed a PK in the 63rd minute in what turned out to be its best chance to score.
In her Big 12 leading seventh clean sheet of the season, Addie Todd made three stops.
Tech win tonight improves the Red Raiders to 23-0-7 in their last 30 instances when scoring once and to 74-4-16 in the last 94 matches when they have scored.
