Tech Soccer named consensus top-five team

The Red Raiders check in at No. 3 in TopDrawer poll and No. 5 in the coaches poll
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Â Fresh off another perfect 2-0-0 weekend in Arizona, Texas Tech Soccer has climbed to No. 3 in the TopDrawer poll and to No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
A week after reaching its highest ranking (No. 4) in the TDS poll, the Red Raiders climbed one more spot to No. 3, besting last week's ranking.
In the other national poll, the United Soccer Coaches, the Red Raiders climbed seven spots to No. 5, narrowly missing the highest ranking in school history (No. 4, 2023) by just one spot.
Atop the Big 12 table with just three matches to play in the regular season, Texas Tech heads to No. 22/7 Colorado for the final Big 12 road match of the season. First touch from Boulder is set for 8 p.m. (CT)/7 p.m. (MT).
