Cross Country Recap: Red Raiders Conclude Cowboy Jamboree Meet

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Texas Tech cross country team concluded its second meet of the season at the Cowboy Jamboree Saturday morning as the both teams placed ninth.Â

A preview of the Big 12 Championship course and one of the strongest meets in the country this weekend, the Cowboy Jamboree featured four ranked teams on the men's side and two on the women's side.

Halena Rahmaan paced the women's squad with a top 45 finish (22:54.4) in a field of over 150 runners in the 6k race. Meanwhile, on the men's side, Edward Rush crossed the end line first for the Red Raiders with a top 50 spot (25:14.9) in the 8k race, which also featured over 150 runners.
