Texas Tech looks to get back on track next Saturday against UTSA

TULSA, Okla. - No. 23-ranked Texas Tech men's tennis came up short against Tulsa on Saturday, 5-2. The  recent road trip drops the Red Raiders move to 2-2 on the year.Â

Tech looked to make up ground after dropping the double point, falling behind 1-0.Â

Junior Dimitros Azoidis got the Red Raiders going early in singles play, earning the first point for the Red Raiders, defeating Daniel Siddall (6-1, 7-5). Senior Ilgiz Valiev continued the momentum with his victory (6-4, 6-1). Tulsa managed to rally back, closing out singles play with four wins.Â
