Lady Raiders Fall to Kansas

Texas Tech moves to 10-4, 0-1 on the season
LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 16 Women's Tennis team dropped to No. 17 Kansas, 4-0, in the Big 12 opener on Friday night.
The teams were forced indoors due to high winds.
The Jayhawks (10-4, 1-0) captured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. The Texas Tech (10-4, 0-1) duo of Gabriela Talaba and Felicity Maltby earned the 6-4 victory on court two to force Kansas to play out the doubles point. The pair is now 12-3 on the season.
In singles action, Kansas picked up three straight wins on courts one, two and three to clinch the match.

The Lady Raiders are set to host Kansas State on Sunday for a noon first serve.
