Wednesday's game marks the 48th meeting between Texas Tech and TCU. The two were members of the old Southwest Conference before the league disbanded. The two became conference opponents again when TCU joined the Big 12 in the 2012-13 season.
The Lady Raiders hold a 40-7 lead over the Horned Frogs and a 16-3 record when playing in Fort Worth.
In the last meeting, Texas Tech fell to TCU, 69-48, in Fort Worth.
The last time the Lady Raiders won on the road against the TCU was on Feb. 9 ,2013, when Tech defeated the Horned Frogs, 64-46.
The Lady Raiders dropped to 11-11 on the season, 3-8 in the Big 12 after falling to No. 2 Baylor, 79-61, on Saturday. Junior Larryn Brooks led the team with a season-high 16 points.
TCU picked up its third win in conference play as the Horned Frogs defeated Kansas, 80-68, on Sunday. Junior AJ Alix scored 22 points in the second half to push the Horned Frogs over the Jayhawks.
