Lady Raiders Welcome Prairie View For Midweek Contest

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raiders return home to the United Supermarkets Arena Tuesday as they host Prairie View A&M.

The Lady Raiders welcome the Panthers to Lubbock for the first time since Nov. 29, 2009, when Texas Tech defeated Prairie View, 67-60. This marks the fifth meeting between the two programs.

Texas Tech fell in the tournament championship game to No. 21/22 Miami, 74-56, on Sunday.
Guirantes led the Lady Raiders against Miami with her fifth double-digit game of the season, scoring 14 points. Terry followed with her fourth-straight double-figure game, scoring 11 points against the Hurricanes.

Guirantes was named to the All-Tournament team as she averaged 16.0 points per game for the Lady Raiders.
