Sendegeya and Thomson Notch Two Doubles Wins for Texas Tech Men’s Tennis at SoCal Intercollegiates

Alex Sendegeya and Bjorn Thomson have won 10 of their 12 doubles matches this fall.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Alex Sendegeya and Bjorn Thomson came away with a pair of doubles wins over opponents from USC and UCLA to advance to the semifinals of the SoCal Intercollegiates Saturday at Marks Stadium on the University of Southern Cal campus.
The duo won a tightly-contested 8-6 opening round decision from USC's David Laser and Logan Smith. They also collected an 8-4 win over UCLA's Daniel Gealer and Ben Goldberg. Sendegeya and Thomson have won 10 of its 12 doubles matches this fall and will play in the semifinal round on Sunday.
"We saw some good things today that we can use going forward," Texas Tech head coach Brett Masi said. "We need to keep growing our confidence and keep doing the right things."
