Baseball's 2016 Red & Black Series Times Announced

The five game set will begin on Friday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech baseball head coach Tim Tadlock has announced the times for the 2016 Red and Black series dates at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park, which will begin on Friday, Nov. 4, and culminate the following weekend on Sunday, Nov. 13.

All five intrasquad scrimmages will be played during the afternoon, with the first of the five-game series slated for 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4. The Red Raiders will conclude the weekend with another 2 p.m. start on Sunday, Nov. 6. Game three will be a midweek contest, which is set for Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. The series will wrap up that weekend with a pair of 2 p.m. games scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11, and Sunday, Nov. 13. Team rosters will be announced leading up to first pitch.

The annual Red and Black series marks the conclusion of the fall practice schedule. Tech will return to full team activity in January in preparation of the 2017 season.
