Baseball's 2016 Red & Black Series Dates Announced

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech baseball head coach Tim Tadlock announced the 2016 Red and Black series dates at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park, which will begin on Friday, Nov. 4, and culminate the following weekend on Sunday, Nov. 13.

The Red Raiders will begin the series of intrasquad scrimmages on Friday, Nov. 4, followed by game two on Sunday, Nov. 6. Game three will be a midweek contest, slated for Tuesday, Nov. 8, with the series wrapping up on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 13. Team rosters and game times will be announced in the coming weeks.

The annual Red and Black series marks the conclusion of the fall practice slate. Tech will return to full team activity in January in preparation of the 2017 season.

All five games in the series will be open to the public. In-game updates will also be provided on @TTU_Baseball on Twitter.
