- While scoring three runs in the loss to Oklahoma State, Texas Tech now holds a 2-10 record when scoring three runs or fewer on the season. The two lone wins were both of the 3-2 variety, coming against Baylor and Kansas.
- When Tyler Neslony was hit-by-pitch in the first inning with the bases loaded, the Red Raiders scored their first run of the game. As a result, Tech is now impressively outscoring opponents 37-7 in the first inning.
- Speaking of Neslony, the junior went 3-for-4 on Sunday, including three RBI, a solo home run, and a triple. That's his first triple of the season, but it's the seventh of his career. Neslony also now has eight career games with at least three RBI.
- With his 3.2 innings of relief in the series finale against Oklahoma State, senior Dominic Moreno has now gone 9.2 consecutive innings without giving up a run. He's given up a total of 15 runs on the season in 46 innings of work.
- Despite the loss, the Red Raiders out-hit the Cowboys, 10-8. The Red Raiders have only five losses this season when having more hits than their opponents with a 20-5 record.
