Red Raider Softball Unveils Fall Schedule

Kierra Miles and the Red Raiders will host five games this fall at Rocky Johnson Field, beginning Oct. 14 with a doubleheader against West Texas A&M. All home games are open to the public with no admission charge.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech head softball coach Adrian Gregory announced Thursday her first fall schedule which features five home games at Rocky Johnson Field during the month of October.
This will be the first set of action for the Red Raiders under Gregory, who took over the reins of the Tech program this past June. Tech will go through individual workouts throughout the month of September prior to opening team practice on Oct. 1.
The Red Raiders will begin their fall slate with an Oct. 14 doubleheader against West Texas A&M. The two-game series will begin with a 4 p.m. first pitch with 30 minutes in between the two games.
Tech will also host UTEP in another doubleheader on Oct. 25, beginning at 1 p.m. that afternoon before closing its home slate on Oct. 28 with a single game against Odessa College.
The Red Raiders will wrap the fall with a road trip to Gregory's alma mater, Texas A&M, on Nov. 8. Tech will take on the Aggies in a 2 p.m. doubleheader and turn around and face Blinn College at 11 a.m. the following day.
All fall games played at Rocky Johnson Field are open to the public with no admission charge.
