The No. 16 Texas Tech Men's Golf team heads back to the links this weekend for the 60th Annual William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque. The tournament is being hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course and will cover 7,562 yards and play at par 72.

The No. 16 Texas Tech Men's Golf team heads back to the links this weekend for the 60th Annual William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque.
A total of 16 teams will be vying for the tournament title including four teams in the top 25 and seven in the top 50. No. 11 UNLV and No. 15 TCU are the higher ranked teams ahead of the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech returns to the course after a successful showing at the annual Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach. The Red Raiders finished fourth overall in a field that included perennial golf powers Georgia, Vanderbilt, TCU, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Arkansas and Oklahoma State.
Sophomore Hannes Ronneblad who finished third overall at 7-under, 209, led the Red Raiders. Ronneblad emerged at the end of last season as one of Tech's top players and will be counted upon again this week in Albuquerque.
Senior Clement Sordet also enjoyed a strong showing at the Carmel Cup as he tied for fourth overall at 5-under, 211. Fellow senior Matias Dominguez finished 12th overall at 2-under, 214.
The tournament is being hosted by the University of New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course and will cover 7,562 yards and play at par 72. The first two rounds will be played on Friday, Sept. 26, with a shotgun start scheduled for 9 a.m. CT. The final round will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a shotgun start.
