
Cailleau-Buzelan Tandem Fall In Round Of 32 In Houston

HOUSTON, Texas -- Texas Tech's tandem of Jolan Cailleau and Alex Buzelan closed out play at the 2014 Rice Invitational at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium on Sunday.
Cailleau and Buzelan, who were seeded second in the doubles draw, fell to the Lamar tandem of Jeandre Hoogenboezem and Juuso Laitinen, 6-5 (7-0), in the Round of 32.
Texas Tech will return to action at the Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Texas Tech junior Felipe Soares and Hugo Dojas have been invited to participate in the ITA All-American. Soares, who is ranked No. 43 in singles, has been selected to participate in the main draw which begins Oct. 2. Dojas, who is ranked No. 65 in singles, will begin play in the qualifying portion of the tournament on Sept. 29.
Soares and Dojas, who are ranked No. 35 in doubles, will participate in the doubles qualifiying for the event on Sept. 29.
