Red Raiders Struggle In Midland

MIDLAND, Texas - Texas Tech struggles at the Midland Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational held at the Midland Racquet Club this past weekend, as the Red Raiders went just 1-5 in the event.
Rain halted the event's first day on Friday and compacted the event into two days.
Texas Tech's lone win came when Nicholas Melott topped Rice's Zach Yablon, 8-6, in the Flight 1 consolation round of 16.
The Red Raiders return to action on Friday at the Rice Invitational in Houston.
