- Texas Tech has advanced to the NCAA Men's College World Series for the first time in school history.
- Becomes the seventh baseball program in Big 12 history to advance to the NCAA Men's College World Series.

- Recorded a school record 9th shutout of the season... had four shutouts during the opening 43 games - have five shutouts during the last nine.
- Has recorded three consecutive shutouts for the first time since... 1976 (at Texas Lutheran, 5-2... at St. Mary's, 1-0... at St. Mary's, 13-0).
- Tallied a shutout in four of the last five games - all NCAA Tournament games and during five of the team's last six wins dating back to West Virginia series.
- Improved to 12-10 against ranked opponents... marks its most wins against ranked opponents since 1998 (15).
- Improved to 15-9 in televised games this season... today marked Tech's first time playing on ESPN2 this season.
- Improved all-time record to 1,546-1,216-8 (65th season)... Improved all-time home record to 1,008-469-5.
- Has held its opponent to 2 or fewer runs in 29 games (25-4)... this total (29) is a new school record for times holding opponent to 2 or more runs in a game during a season.
TEXAS TECH NCAA TOURNAMENT NOTES
- Won its first-ever NCAA Super Regional championship.
- Improved to 20-19 all-time in the NCAA Tournament (10th appearance - 1st Super Regional).
- Pitchers have 27 consecutive scoreless innings (3 consecutive shutouts) with 51 scoreless innings in 55 innings pitched this NCAA Tournament.
- Tech starting pitchers have 36 consecutive scoreless innings pitched during a span of the last five games of the NCAA Tournament.
- Pitching staff has a 0.65 ERA (55.0 IP/4 ER) in the NCAA Tournament.
- Pitching staff has three consecutive shutouts and a total of four shutouts in six NCAA Tournament games this postseason.
- Improved to 8-15 all-time in the NCAA Tournament against ranked opponents.
- Improved to 12-9 as a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament... this season marks the fifth time Tech has been a No. 2 seed (has been a 2-seed more often than any other seed).

- Second-year head coach Tim Tadlock is 5-1 in NCAA Tournament games... becomes the first head coach in school history to lead the Red Raiders to an NCAA Regional Tournament title.
PAID ATTENDANCE: 4,811 - RIP GRIFFIN PARK STADIUM RECORD - 11TH ALL-TIME IN TECH HISTORY
- Sunday's paid attendance was 4,811 - matching yesterday's mark which set a new Rip Griffin Park record (since 2012 renovation) and a total that ranks 11th all-time in Texas Tech home game history. It marks the most fans at a Texas Tech baseball home game since 2000 (vs. Texas - 5,124)... The all-time Texas Tech home attendance record is 5,814 vs. USC in 1996 - also an NCAA Tournament game.

- Improved to 8-0 this season with the win... 8 wins is a Texas Tech freshman record... broke the school record with 7th win during the Coral Gables Regional.
- Marked his fourth consecutive scoreless start... last time a Red Raider had four straight scoreless starts was RHP Trey Masek (2013).
- Owns a streak of 23.1 consecutive scoreless innings pitched - streak spans last four starts (May 6-June 8).
- Texas Tech improved to 13-1 during his 14 starts this season.
- Now has seven scoreless starts on the season.

- Set a school record for saves in a NCAA postseason with two.
- Earned the save in back-to-back games while holding a 1-0 lead in both Super Regional games vs. CofC.

LF Tyler Neslony (1-FOR-4, R)
- Singled and scored Tech's only run of the game in the fourth inning.
- Has reached base safely in 36 consecutive games played... longest streak reaching base safely by a Red Raider since Jamodrick McGruder (39 straight, 2010-11).
- Has hit safely in 22 of his last 24 games played.
1B Eric Gutierrez (0-FOR-2, BB)
- Made 120th consecutive start on Sunday... longest streak among active players.
- Second time this season (vs. West Virginia) to hit two doubles in a game.
- Marked his 22nd multi-hit game of the season (34th career).
