TEXAS TECH NCAA TOURNAMENT NOTES
- Won its first-ever NCAA Regional Tournament... marked its fifth NCAA Regional Tournament championship appearance.
- Advances to its first-ever NCAA Super Regional.
- Pitching staff recorded a 0.97 ERA (37 IP/4 ER) in the Coral Gables Regional... pitching staff recorded 33 scoreless innings in 37 total innings pitched.
- Set a school record with a 0.97 ERA in an NCAA Tournament series... previous record was 1.89 in 1997 Lubbock Regional.
- Set a school record with 18 walks in the Coral Gables Regional Tournament... previous record was 15 in 2004 at the Atlanta Regional.
- Tied a school record for fewest hits allowed in an NCAA Tournament game with 3... tied record of 3 vs. Stanford on May 28, 1995.
- Second time in school history - both this season - to have a shutout in an NCAA Tournament game... also shutout Miami (Fla.) on May 31.
- Tied a school record for most strikeouts by a pitching staff in an NCAA Regional with 19... last done in 1997 at Lubbock Regional.
- Improved to 18-19 all-time in the NCAA Tournament (10th appearance)... Improved to 6-15 all-time in the NCAA Tournament against ranked opponents.
- Improved to 10-9 as a 2-seed in the NCAA Tournament... this season marks the fifth time Tech has been a No. 2 seed in a regional (has been a 2-seed more often than any other seed).
- Improved to 4-3 in games played in a regional in the state of Florida... all seven games have been played in Miami Regionals (1998 - 3 games... 2014 - 2 games).
- Second-year head coach Tim Tadlock is 3-1 in NCAA Tournament games... becomes the first head coach in school history to lead the Red Raiders to an NCAA Regional Tournament title.

- Threw a complete-game three-hit shutout.
- Marked the first complete-game shutout by any Red Raider in school history in NCAA Tournament play.
- Is the first Red Raider this season to throw a complete game.
- Threw 114 pitches - marked a season-high.
- Threw 9.0 innings - marked a season-high.
- Retired 6-of-7 batters during the final two innings to end the game.
- Improved to 8-2 on the season... marked just his fourth start of the season and first since March 29.
