LAS VEGAS — Texas Tech junior Clement Sordet is tied for 21st after a 5-over par 77 in the second round as Texas Tech moved to 14th place on Saturday at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters at Southern Highlands Golf Course.

Tech (312-314—626) is three shots ahead of No. 12 Texas A&M and nine shots back of No. 3 Georgia Tech. No. 37 UNLV leads the tournament at 16-over (592).

Sordet had 11 pars, six bogeys and one birdie in his second round after four birdies on his first day in Las Vegas.

Esteban Restrepo, Henry Todd and Hannes Ronnblad each shot 79 on Saturday while Matias Dominguez rounded out the scores with an 81.

Tech will play the final round of the tournament Sunday beginning at 9:12 a.m. MT (8:12 a.m. CST) with Henry Todd on No. 10. Keep up with the live scores on www.golfstat.com.
