TEXAS TECH
- Improved to 19-7 overall and to 3-3 in Big 12 games... Improved to 4-3 in road games (5-5 in road/neutral site games)... improved to 15-5 in day games.
- Is the only NCAA Division I baseball program that currently has 19 wins, 6 wins vs. top-25 opponents and opened league play with back-to-back road series.
- Has won four of its last six games and 11 of its last 15 games overall.
- In five series finales this season (vs. Indiana, vs. ORU, vs. New Mexico State, at Baylor, at TCU) Tech is 5-0 and out-scoring opponents 44-8.
- Has its best start to the season (through 26 games) since 2006 (19-7)... Has 19 wins (through 26 games) for the 9th time in school history (2014, 2006, 1999, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1994, 1993, 1991).
- Won its first road series over a ranked opponent since 2011 (at No. 14 Baylor).
- Won its 27th all-time Big 12 road series... has won a Big 12 road series in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2010-11.

- Improved to 6-2 against ranked opponents this season... marks its most wins against ranked opponents through 26 games of the season in the Big 12 era (since 1997).
- The last time Tech had six wins against ranked opponents during the opening 26 games was in 1996 (6 wins in 9 games).
- In just his second season as head coach, Tim Tadlock has 11 wins against ranked opponents.
- Improved all-time record to 1,520-1,204-8 (65th season).
