Texas Tech University and the Big 12 Conference have unveiled the 2015 Red Raider Football schedule that will kick off at Jones AT&T Stadium on Sept. 5.
The 2015 schedule features a 12-game regular season that will begin at home against Sam Houston State on Sept. 5, and end in Austin on Thanksgiving night (Nov. 26) against the University of Texas. The Red Raiders will play 11-straight games without an off week leading up to the finale against Texas. The Saturday before the Texas game (Nov. 21) and the final week of the Big 12 regular-season on Dec. 5 will mark Texas Tech's off weeks for the 2015 season.
The only Thursday game for Texas Tech over the course of the 2015 season will fall on Thanksgiving when the Red Raiders take on the Longhorns.

Following the season opener against Sam Houston State on Sept. 5, Tech will complete a two-game homestand the following week, as the Red Raiders will face UTEP on Sept. 12. The UTEP match-up will mark the annual Celebrate Cotton Game.
Texas Tech completes its two-game contracted home-and-home with the University of Arkansas on Sept. 19 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. The game against Arkansas will mark the final nonconference game of the season.
For the second time in the last three years, the Red Raiders will open Big 12 play at home against the TCU Horned Frogs. Texas Tech and TCU will face off at Jones AT&T Stadium on Sept. 26.
Texas Tech will open the month of October in Arlington, as the Red Raiders will face the Baylor Bears at AT&T Stadium on Oct. 3. The neutral site game against the Bears will be considered a Baylor home game and the first of a newly renewed four-game contract between the two schools at AT&T Stadium. Texas Tech and Baylor began playing at a neutral site in the DFW Metroplex in 2009 with five of the games being played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The Red Raiders will play two home games at Jones AT&T Stadium in the month of October with Iowa State making the trip to Lubbock on Oct. 10 and Oklahoma State on Oct. 31. The Oct. 10 game against Iowa State will be Homecoming for the Red Raiders.
Texas Tech's home finale will fall on Nov. 14 when the Red Raiders host the Kansas State Wildcats.
Season ticket information for the 2015 season will be announced in the coming weeks.
