Red Raiders will host Arizona in a potential top-25 matchup at 11 a.m. CT on either ABC or ESPN
LUBBOCK, Texas โ The potential top-25 showdown between No. 8 Texas Tech and No. 25 Arizona will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Oct. 31, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday as part of its 12-day television selections. Television coverage will be on either ABC or ESPN with the exact network decided following this weekend's slate of games.
This will be only the second all-time meeting as Big 12 opponents between the Red Raiders and Wildcats as Texas Tech previously topped Arizona, 28-22, in Tucson midway through the 2024 season. It is currently one of two potential top-25 matchups on the college football slate for Halloween based on this week's Associated Press rankings as No. 3 Ohio State will travel to No. 16 USC that same day.
Tickets are still on sale for the Arizona game and can be purchase by visiting TexasTech.com or calling 806-742-TECH. Texas Tech has a limited supply of ticket inventory for each of its final three home games as the Red Raiders will also host West Virginia on Nov. 7 and then TCU on Thanksgiving Night (Nov. 26).
The Red Raiders will first face Cincinnati this Saturday in an 11 a.m. CT start from Nippert Stadium. Television coverage for that game will be provided nationally on FOX Sports 1.
