Lea Hopson and the Red Raiders will host UTEP in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Rocky Johnosn Field. All fans will receive complimentary admission into the doubleheader.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech softball program will continue its fall schedule Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. doubleheader against UTEP at Rocky Johnson Field.
The Red Raiders are already 2-0 this fall after sweeping a previous doubleheader against West Texas A&M on Oct. 14 in Tech's debut under first-year head coach Adrian Gregory. Tech combined to outscore the Lady Buffs, 7-3, in the pair of victories.
UTEP, meanwhile, will be closing out its fall schedule this weekend as the Miners are 3-0-1 so far with a doubleheader sweep of Odessa College and then a win over Midland College as well. The lone tie came in a 4-4 nine-inning contest against New Mexico State.
The doubleheader will be the first of four games this fall for the Red Raiders against a Division-I opponent as Tech will also face Texas A&M in a pair of games on Nov. 8 in College Station.
All fans wishing to attend Saturday's doubleheader will receive complementary admission into the stadium.
