Texas Tech Baseball Opens Fall Team Practices Monday

LUBBOCK, Texas - The fall baseball season officially begins Monday at 2:30 p.m. for the Texas Tech baseball program under first-year head coach Tim Tadlock.
The Red Raiders will hold its first official team practice Monday at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
"We are all extremely excited to get started," Tadlock said. "We have a lot of players who are working hard and are ready to start competing. This is a great time of the year to build team chemistry and for our coaching staff to spend a lot of time working with each individual in this program."
Texas Tech's fall season will conclude with the annual Red & Black Series, slated for October 22 (Game 1), October 29 (Game 2) and October 30. Times and details on the Red & Black Series will follow at a later date.
