
Tech Concludes Texas Invitational

The Texas Tech women's tennis team concluded the Texas Invitational held in Austin, Texas, with three single matches.
"I felt the tournament was good," head coach Todd Petty said. "We got lot of experience and now we have several weeks off before ITA Regionals. I think there are things to work on and we were able to play good competition. We now are able to rest and get back to working before heading to the ITA Regionals."
Caroline Starck fell in the final round of the consolation northeast draw to Laura Claus of the University of San Diego in a 6-3, 6-1 decision.
Kenna Kilgo dropped a match to Texas' Noel Scott is three sets, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the consolation north draw.
Sandra Dynka won the consolation final by default as Texas Krista Damico withdrew due to injury.
