The win was Texas Tech's ninth in a row, marking the school's longest winning streak since beginning the 1997 season with nine-straight victories.
The Red Raiders won the match in three sets for the eighth time this season, which is the most for Tech in a single-season since the 2002 squad ended 10 matches via a 3-0 sweep.
Texas Tech claimed its second tournament title of the season, a feat that had not been previously accomplished since the 2006 season.
Texas Tech opponents have now hit under .100 in nine of 10 matches this season as Louisiana Tech finished with a .016 hitting percentage. Only UConn has posted a hitting percentage above .100 against Tech this year.
Amanda Dowdy posted her 20th career double-double and seventh one of the season with 11 kills and 17 digs. Dowdy drilled the final two kills in the match to move her into double-digits.
Karlyn Meyers' double-double was her seventh of her career and second of the season with the other coming in the season-opening loss to TCU.
Miara Cave hit above .400 for the sixth time this season as the junior finished 11-for-19 on the attack en route to a .421 percentage.
Nicole Hragyil posted a new season high in digs as the redshirt freshman finished with eight in the match with seven of those coming in the first set alone.
Mikia Mills matched her season high with eight blocks, all assists. She also posted eight assists against Morehead State in the finale of the Texas Tech Invitational.
