• The win was Texas Tech's ninth in a row, marking the school's longest winning streak since beginning the 1997 season with nine-straight victories.
• The Red Raiders won the match in three sets for the eighth time this season, which is the most for Tech in a single-season since the 2002 squad ended 10 matches via a 3-0 sweep.
• Texas Tech claimed its second tournament title of the season, a feat that had not been previously accomplished since the 2006 season.
• Texas Tech opponents have now hit under .100 in nine of 10 matches this season as Louisiana Tech finished with a .016 hitting percentage. Only UConn has posted a hitting percentage above .100 against Tech this year.
• Amanda Dowdy posted her 20th career double-double and seventh one of the season with 11 kills and 17 digs. Dowdy drilled the final two kills in the match to move her into double-digits.
• Karlyn Meyers' double-double was her seventh of her career and second of the season with the other coming in the season-opening loss to TCU.
• Miara Cave hit above .400 for the sixth time this season as the junior finished 11-for-19 on the attack en route to a .421 percentage.
• Nicole Hragyil posted a new season high in digs as the redshirt freshman finished with eight in the match with seven of those coming in the first set alone.
• Mikia Mills matched her season high with eight blocks, all assists. She also posted eight assists against Morehead State in the finale of the Texas Tech Invitational.
