Kansas' win pulled the Jayhawks to even against Texas Tech as the Red Raiders previously controlled a 16-15 lead in the series.
The Jayhawks have now won eight of the last night meetings against Tech. The Red Raiders dropped to 7-10 all-time in Lawrence.
The Red Raiders came into the match 13-1 on the year when winning the opening set. Tech's only other loss came on Oct. 1 when 25th-ranked Oklahoma took a five-set victory in Lubbock.
Tech is 0-7 this year when trailing in hitting percentage. The Red Raiders finished with a .082 hitting percentage compared to Kansas' .176 average.
The Red Raiders' .082 hitting percentage was their second-lowest average of the season. Tech hit .049 against Iowa State on Sept. 24.
Amanda Dowdy recorded her 31st career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs in the match. The double-double was also Dowdy's 17th of the season.
Brandy Huskey finished with 10-plus digs for the second-straight match as the sophomore finished with a team-high 11, three shy of the career high she set Wednesday night against Texas A&M.
Sam Podraza's six kills was two shy of her season high set against Grambling State on Aug. 27 in only Tech's third match of the season.
