EVANS NAMED TO NACAC CHAMPIONSHIPS RELAY TEAM

LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophomore All-American Terra Evans has been selected to the 4x100M relay squad for the North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships being held in Mirmar, Fl., on July 9-11.
Evans is one of six students-athletes from various colleges to run in the women's 4x100M relay. The other others selected were Jeneba Tarmoh (Texas A&M), Kenyanna Wilson (LSU), Candice McGrone (Florida State), Amber Purvis (Oregon) and Tiffany Townsend (Baylor).
Evans earned three All-American honors at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships. She placed fifth in the 100M with a time of 11.27 and was one of the top eight Americans in the 200M. Evans was also a member of the 4x100M relay that placed eighth at the championships.
The NACAC Championships will be held July 9-11 in Mirmar, Fl.
