LUBBOCK, TX - The 2010 USTA/ITA Texas Regional ended today as the Texas Tech women's doubles pair lost in the semifinals in Waco, Texas.

In the semifinal doubles match, SMU's No.1 seed, Marta Lesniak and Heather Steinbauer, defeated Caroline Starck and Nikki Sanders, 8-6.

Coach Todd Petty stated, "It was a great tournament for our entire team, and especially for Caroline and Nikki. I'm very proud of how we played in the ITA."

Texas Tech wraps up their fall season with four players competing in the Baylor Invitational and four players vying for wins at the New Mexico Invitational, Nov. 5-7.
