Tech Volleyball to Host Halloween Fright Night Event

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program will host its annual Halloween Fright Night event at Wednesday's match against Texas A&M where all fans wearing a costume will receive complimentary admission. First serve is slated for 6:30 p.m. in the United Spirit Arena.
The first 50 kids in costume will also receive a free Trick or Treat bag to use for the special Safe Treat that will take place with over thirty Tech student organizations on the concourse following the match.
A costume contest will also take place during the match with three winners selected. The best overall costume (ages to 15 only) will win four tickets to the Tech homecoming football game against Missouri on Nov. 6, while the most spookiest costume will win a box of Godiva Chocolates from Otto's Granary and the most creative costume will take home fajitas for two to El Chico.
All Guns Up Kids Club members will be admitted free of charge, and any fan who brings two canned food items will also receive complementary admission. Canned food items will be donated to the South Plains Food Bank of Lubbock.
