Texas Tech at Kansas State Volleyball Postponed

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Volleyball team will not make the trek to Manhattan, Kan., today as previously scheduled as six players have the flu. At this point the match is considered postponed until further scheduling arrangements can be made. Tech will resume play after its scheduled bye weekend when it hosts No. 11 Iowa State on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the United Spirit Arena at 6:30 p.m.
These cases are not unique to Texas Tech. Collegiate athletic departments across the country have experienced cases of student-athletes with flu-like symptoms and some that have contracted the flu.
