WOMEN'S TENNIS ADDS RECRUIT FROM ECUADOR

LUBBOCK, Texas - The women's tennis program has added its second recruit for 2009 as Ecuador native, Maria Aviles announced by head coach Todd Petty.
Aviles is one of the top 400 Junior's in the word and has an extensive amount of international experience. She was a member of Ecuador's Junior Fed Cup team in 2008 and has been one of the top South American prospects for the last three years.
"We look forward to Maria playing in the top of the lineup early on," Petty exclaimed. "Her skill and experience will help us add depth at the top of the lineup and should really improve our team."
