
Red Raiders Swept by Colorado

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech volleyball was swept by Colorado (25-21, 25-16, 25-11) as the Buffs had a .372 hitting percentage for the match.
The Red Raiders (5-13, 0-7) stayed close with Colorado (9-6, 3-3) in the first set but the Buffs went on a run winning 25-21. Colorado came out in the second set on fire hitting a .480 percentage as the Red Raiders lost 25-16. Tech was unable to mount a comeback in the third set losing 25-11.
Outside hitter Caroline Courtney led the Red Raiders with eight kills and a .583 hitting percentage. Libero Jen Harrell had 12 digs bring her total to five consecutive matches with at least 10 digs.
Emilee Sisco led the Colorado with 12 kills.
The Red Raiders face its rival Texas A&M on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena.
