LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech distance champion Sally Kipyego is aiming for an unprecedented fifth national title this season in the women's 5000M tonight (June 8) at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

The race will be carried in its entirety on CSTV, beginning at 10:10 p.m. CT.

Kipyego has won national titles in cross country, indoor 5000M and 10000M and the outdoor 10000M yesterday.

Should Kipyego win tonight, she will become the first women's track athlete in NCAA history to claim five individual national championships in a single season.
