
Tech Track Adds Local Hurdler for 2007

Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech track and field head coach Wes Kittley announced the signing of Lubbock native Omo Osaghe for the 2006-2007 season.
Osaghe is a standout hurdler at Monterey high school. Last weekend he finished third in the 110M hurdles at the State Championships with a personal best time of 13.80. He is a two-time state qualifier while running for the Plainsmen.
The signing of Osaghe brings Kittley recruiting class to 19. He joins Tech's corp of hurdlers who has earned six All-Big 12 honors and an All-American honor.
