
Floren Completes Run at British Open

LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech junior golfer Oscar Floren (Ljungskile, Sweden) turned in a 78 on Friday in the second round of the 2005 British Open at The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews to give him a two-round total of 151.
Floren was able to tally birdies on the ninth and 18th holes, but also turned in five holes of bogie scores or higher to give him a score of seven over par for the tournament. The cut to continue into the third and fourth rounds of The Open included all players whose score was one over par or lower.
