2005 Collegiate Baseball Magazine All-America Teams
June 2, 2005
LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior shortstop Cameron Blair picked up his second All-America honor of the season today as he was named a third-team selection by Collegiate Baseball Magazine.
The Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Magazine All-America honor marks his second in his two-year career as he was also named to the third-team in 2004.
Blair was the catalyst for the Red Raider offense in 2005 and was one of the most prolific hitters in the nation. His 17 home runs on the year were the best at his position and he finished the regular-season with a .363 average along with 12 doubles and 59 RBI. He is the first Red Raiders since Josh Bard (1998-1999) to earn All-America honors in back-to-back seasons.
