Senior catcher Cooper Fouts' single in the bottom of the third broke a streak of 9 1/3 hitless innings by Missouri pitcher Max Scherzer dating back to the game on April 1.
Texas Tech is now 1-4 in game-two of the Big 12 Tournament after winning the opening round (only win was in 1998).
Missouri has now won seven of the last nine meetings in the series. The Tigers also own a 2-1 advantage against the Red Raiders in the Big 12 Tournament.
