Softball Team Mourns with Teammate

Renfro expected to return before Kansas series.

LUBBOCK, Texas - Sophomore Ashleigh Renfro is expecting to return to the team before the Kansas series. Renfro has not been with the team the past week as she has been with her family mourning the death of her father. Renfro has played in two games for the Red Raiders this season.

"As Ashleigh's extended softball family," said head coach Teresa Wilson, "our heart felt sympathy goes out to Ashleigh and her family at this time. We look forward to her return and the opportunity to extend our support as she deals with one of life's greatest losses."
