Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech women's tennis head coach Cari Groce has been asked to present at the ITA Convention in Miami, Dec. 11-14, it was announced by the association today.
Groce, in her third season at the helm of the Lady Raider tennis program, will be presenting "Triangle Doubles, Texas Style", the method of coaching doubles she uses here at Tech that she learned from her father, the former head coach at Oklahoma State.
Groce will also present on the same subject at the Texas Tennis Coaches Association clinic, at the Newks Tennis Center, in New Braunfels, Texas, Dec. 2-4.
"I'm really excited and honored to be able to present to high school and college coaches on coaching doubles," said Groce. "It's really neat that people want to hear and learn more about the game of doubles and pass it on to their athletes. It really says a lot about the direction of where women's tennis is headed."
