
Tech Volleyball Falls at Baylor, 3-2

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team finished their regular season with a 3-2 loss at Baylor, in Waco, this evening. The Bears took the match by game scores of 30-28, 22-30, 23-30, 30-25, 17-15. The Red and Black conclude the 2005 season with a record of 11-20 and 4-16 in Big 12 play.
Philister Sang and Kiley Lyons led the offensive charge with 29 and 11 kills, respectively. They also both posted a double-double as Sang had 16 digs and Lyons had 18. Michelle Flores posted her first double-digit kill match as she pounded down 12 kills.
Desiree Batista anchored the defense and, in her last match as Red Raider, she notched a season-high 26 digs. Brianna Florus, also playing in her last match in the Red and Black, ran the middle with three solo blocks and six block assists.
