Tech Volleyball Falls at No. 10 Texas, 3-0

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team fell to the No. 10 Texas Longhorn, 3-0, in Austin, this evening. UT took the match by game scores of 30-19, 30-20, 30-18. The Red Raiders fall to 11-17 and 4-13 on the season.
Philister Sang shouldered the offense with eight kills and chipped in on defense with six digs. Desiree Batista controlled the defense with 12 digs. Brianna Florus ran the middle with one solo block and three block assists. Emily Ziegler served as the primary setter and aided on 16 sets.
The Red Raiders will return to Lubbock on Saturday, as they host the Iowa State Cyclones on Senior night. Seniors Desiree Batista and Brianna Florus will be honored in pre-match events. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. Fans holding a ticket stub from the Tech-OU game will gain free admission to the match.
