Tech Duo Falls at All-American Championships

Lubbock, Texas - Texas Tech women's tennis top duo, No. 25 Tara Browning and Lakann Wagley, fell in the consolation doubles round at the ITA All-American Championships, in Pacific Palisades, Calif., this afternoon.
Browning and Wagley fell to the 23rd seed of the tournament, Ilona Somers and Virginia Tomatis of Ole Miss, 8-2.
Browning and Wagley fell to Celia Durkin and Jessica Nguyen of Stanford, 8-3, in the opening round of the All-American Championships on Tuesday.
Tech's top duo currently boasts a 9-4 fall record.
Next up for Lady Raider tennis will be the ITA Regional Championships in College Station, Texas, Oct. 21-25.
