Women's Tennis Concludes Day Four at Regionals

Lubbock, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team concluded day four of competition at the Southwest Regional Tournament, in College Station, Texas, on Monday.

In singles action, Tara Browning went on a three-match win streak as she defeated Anna Lubinsky of Texas A&M, 6-3, 1-6, 10-4, Christine Dao of Rice, 6-3, 6-4, and Jennifer Chay of SMU, 6-2, 6-4. Cigdem Duru fell to Dao of Rice, 6-3, 1-6, 10-4.

In doubles play, Durham and Fankam topped Moreton and Schmulbach of North Texas, 8-3, and Seamen and Tucker of LSU, 8-5. Duru and Samantha van der Drift topped Bateup and Gomez of Houston, 8-2. The pair then fell to teammates No. 25 Browning and Lakann Wagley, 8-4.
